She doesn’t do much but read, work, and hang out with her father.Ĭhloe is adorable. Due to the death of her mother and her ability to see what age people die at she closes herself off from the world. She is 17 and lives in San Francisco California and works at a fast food job she hates. Harper becomes determined to beat the numbers. Heck, she only has until the end of the summer to live! The fact that Chloe is already 16 means she has less than a year to live. The only problem is, is there is a big ol’ 16 on Chloe’s forehead. Harper can’t resist wanting to spend more time with Chloe. Chloe is new to the neighbourhood and she is so full of life. Until one day she almost runs over Chloe. Harper decides never to get close to anyone again. From then on out her view on life is a little pessimistic. Try as she might to prevent her mother’s death she can’t. Harper has the ability to see the age people will die at. Colorblind by Siera Maley was one of those books where I read the first three sentences and knew that I would completely love it.
